Deck's

We have built some of the most beautiful decks on the Central Coast. Weather it be a Con Heart Redwood Deck in Atascadero, or a Azek Deck, Timber Tech Deck, a Trex Deck in Arroyo Grande, or a Epi Deck in San Luis Obispo, or a Douglas Fir Deck Contractor & Premiere Deck builders in Paso Robles, or a vinyl deck in Pismo Beach, We have built deck and fences all over Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Avila Beach, Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Nipomo, Santa Maria, Orcutt, Solvang, and Santa Ynez. We use Brown treated sub framing that last a lifetime. We use zinc coated Simpson brackets with SDS screws. We use captor colored and coated deck screws for a color matching and life long look.

We have built and build some of the straightest, most private, and decorative fences on the Central Coast. Weather it be a horse corral No Climb fence in Atascadero, or a Dog Ear Wood Privacy Fence in Arroyo Grande, or a Wrought Iron Fence and Gate in San Luis Obispo, or a Livestock three rail corral fence in Paso Robles, or a vinyl picket or vinyl privacy fence in Pismo Beach, We are the Central Coast leading fence builders and Fence Contractors on the Central Coast and build fences all over Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Avila Beach, Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Nipomo, Santa Maria, Orcutt, Solvang, and Santa Ynez. We use only quality local materials. We encourage the use of Post Master fence post for longevity and future access. We use string lines for straight fences and we use 90lbs of concrete for every fence post. 

Pergola's , Arbor's , Trellis's  

A pergola, arbor, or trellis is a garden feature forming a shaded walkway, passageway, or setting area of 4 or more vertical post or pillars that usually support cross-beams and sturdy open lattice, often upon which vines or plants can grow up. You can also hang natural gas heaters, tv's, lighting and other art onto the pergola. We can add amenities such as retractable canvas shades and fixed canvas shades. Most of the time we like to add stone covered column basses to make the structure look more robust.  Arroyo Grande Deck And Fence has built many beautiful and stunning pergolas, arbors, trellis's all over the central coast. 

Construction Methods 

We use only the best and local products available to construct our projects.  We believe in over constructing than building sub-par projects. We use out-sourced engineers to design our complicated projects. We keep up to date on current building codes and building trends.  We keep all past designs on file to reuse when filing for permits to save our clients engineering fees.  We are licensed general and landscape contractors. We are PE certified so if you want gas heaters hanging from your pergola or gas torches attached to your deck we can run all the gas lines.  Once we start a project we don't stop until the job is complete.  We provide mock up drawlings of all jobs to coincide with the contract to cut down on confusion so our clients have a clear understanding of what they are getting.

Electrical

If you want steps lights, or bistro lights, or outlets around your deck we can run all the conduit and wire. Once new breakers or operations inside the panel are required we will consult a electrical contractor.  We can make all outdoor lights run from a switch, a photos cell, or a timer.

How We Charge

When you have Arroyo Grande Deck & Fence complete a project for you we have two different ways we charge. We can either hard bid the job for you. Which mean we give you a down to the penny price and that price does not change unless you decide to make changes and add work to the scope of the project. Our second method of billing is Time and Material. With a T&M (time + materials) We bill a hourly rate of $65 per hour per man. We also charge 20% on top of the total material cost for mark up. Many people ask why the mark up. We have to make all the phone calls, calculations, logistics, color matching with you the client, and 90% of the time pick the material up and deliver it.
